The driver of the 2019 Kia Optima was traveling west when he left the roadway and struck a tree on Guilford Road at Lambeth Court shortly before 4 a.m., Thursday, May 12, said Howard County Police.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead on the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, officials say.
